Investment Book Recommendations

I am often asked to recommend investment books. This photo has a few of my favorites.

They run the gamut from foundational (Security Analysis, Quest for Value) to lateral thinking (Freakonomics, More Than You Know) and skepticism (Financial Shenanigans, Never Be Lied to Again).

I couldn't find my copy of The Intelligent Investor or I would have included it. Likewise for The Essays of Warren Buffett. Alternatively, go to the source and read all of Warren Buffett's shareholder letters back to 1977, available for free on Berkshire Hathaway's website. I particularly recommend the 1979-1981 letters to get inside Buffett's mind as he makes capital allocation decisions during a period of high inflation.
